Opticon HOTSWAP is a two year plan at $10/month per device. Opticon HOTSWAP service is available on all Opticon H19 and H21 mobile devices.
How HotSwap Works
Register each unit's serial number with your HOTSWAP contract. When a unit is damaged, contact Opticon at 800.636.0090 for an RMA number. Send your damaged unit to Opticon HOTSWAP at:

Upon receipt, Opticon Service will ship a replacement unit to your location using 3-day air. (Shipping upgrades available for an additional fee.)
HotSwap Terms and Conditions
- Opticon HOTSWAP service must be purchased within 30 days of the original product purchase date. (receipt required)
- There is a five unit minimum for HOTSWAP service.
- The service plan must be paid in full before HOTSWAP service can be exercised.
- HOTSWAP replacements are limited to two swaps per unit per contract period.
- HOTSWAP replacement units maintain the original unit's warranty period.
- Accessory coverage is limited to stylus, battery covers, handstraps, and clips. Damaged items must be sent in with unit under contract and are not covered separately.
- Customer pays for shipping units to Opticon, and must provide original or suitably equivalent packaging.
- HOTSWAP provides comprehensive coverage of product defects, normal wear and tear, failures and any damage sustained while being used as intended in the work environment.
HotSwap does not cover the following situations
- Units damaged due to chronic negligence or deliberate abuse.
- Units damaged to the extent that the Equipment serial number is no longer verifiable.
- Units damaged by unauthorized alterations or attempted third party repair.
- Units damaged by usage outside of the product's environmental specifications.
- Units damaged due to inadequate customer provided transit packaging.
- Units damaged by natural or manmade disasters, including but not limited to fire and flood.
- Lost or stolen units.
